Omni Investigations ("Omni", "we", "us") is a licensed private investigative agency in the State of Florida, headquartered at 2750 N 29th Ave, Hollywood, Florida 33020. This policy explains what information we collect through omniinvestigations.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, and the choices you have.
It covers Site visitors and people who contact us through the Site. It does not cover the handling of case information once you become a client; that is governed by your engagement agreement and by Chapter 493, Florida Statutes.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, call, email, or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send: typically your name, phone number, email address, the service you are asking about, and your message. Please do not include information about third parties in a first message unless it is necessary to describe your situation.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our analytics and security tools collect technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring site, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. Microsoft Clarity records anonymized session replays and heatmaps; text you type into form fields is masked and not captured. See the Cookie Policy for the tools involved.
Information from Cloudflare Turnstile. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated submissions. Turnstile evaluates browser signals to distinguish people from bots and does not require you to solve a puzzle.
We do not collect payment card data on the Site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule a consultation, and provide the services you ask about.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including detecting abuse and fixing errors.
- To understand how visitors use the Site so we can make it clearer and faster.
- To comply with legal obligations, including record-keeping requirements that apply to licensed investigative agencies in Florida.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not share inquiry details with anyone outside Omni except as described below.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that host and operate the Site and its tools: Cloudflare (hosting, security, analytics), Supabase (form storage), Google (Analytics, Maps), Microsoft (Clarity), Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram, if you contact us there). Each acts under its own terms and processes data on our instructions where applicable.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Omni, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. If Omni is sold or merged, inquiry records may transfer to the successor under this policy.
Retention
Contact form submissions and related correspondence are kept for 24 months after the last contact, then deleted, unless you become a client (in which case case-file retention rules apply) or a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained by the tool defaults described in the Cookie Policy.
Your choices and rights
- Cookies and analytics. You can decline analytics cookies in the consent banner or change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
- Access, correction, deletion. You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity. Deletion may be limited where we are required to keep records by law.
- Do Not Track. The Site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, but the consent banner gives you the same control.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a decline for analytics cookies.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit and stored with access limited to authorized Omni staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; contact us by phone if a matter is too sensitive to write down.
International visitors
The Site is operated from the United States and directed to people seeking services in Florida. If you visit from outside the US, your information is transferred to and processed in the US.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new effective date. Material changes will be announced on the Site for 30 days.
